Dome Light rattle

Anyone have any tips or fixes to keep my dome light from rattleing? It drives me crazy when i have my system turned up and it rattles!

i used some thin closed cell foam in between it and the headliner... its getting shitty now but its held up about a year since i put it on

Mine did the same thing, I took cotton and put it in the clips that hold the cover up, worked great!

ya or u can bend the terminals that hold your bulb in place in a bit so the light sits in there tighter and ya Just line the dome light housing with thin foam

remove the light.....next! Seriously though, if thats the only rattle that bothers you you've got issues. I hate my rear deck, hated it with 2 ported 1000w 12", hate it with the stock pioneer 10".

I put little permatex globs at the meeting points of the lens and the housing and let it dry overnight. It fits real snug and doesn't rattle or break down like foam.

I used generic dynamat extreme in large quantities in my car, the only rattle I have now is the rear view mirror

I lined the entire roof panel with it, then put a square of it over the entire dome light...rattle gone
