Just curious what a reasonable price for a used, even blown '05 L61 engine would be. I would rather have something to rebuild piece by piece and swap when its done, than have my dd down for however long it takes for a rebuild. I am planning on doing rods, pistons, cams, hopefully port and polish, and def the supercharger conversion. Just trying to get a baseline since i have never bought a newer engine. I have done the 3-400 ford or chevy v8's, but not for a rebuild and they blew up quick. I am looking for a rear ended or side swiped total at some close junkyards, but not finding any luck in the '05 '06 years.
