So I had the engine swapped from my 05 cobalt and the engine I got was from an ion but it's running and sounds good although when I test drove it when I get above 25 it bogs out and I can push my foot to the floor and no acceleration occurs also the power steering light will come on although I still have power steering the speedometer does not work and the battery light is on and the key will not come out of the ignition

Sounds like you've got a bunch of other problems besides the engine. Look over all the wiring and make sure everything is connected. Have any codes?
The ignition is a recall.
Power steering is a recall.
Speedometer is probably a disconnected vehicle speed sensor on the transmission.

You may have Throttle body issues and if your speedo isn't working correctly your it will screw with the computer, you'll have poor acceleration and poor or no transmission shifts
Remember you don't have a throttle cable. Everything is computer, and even the gauge display can screw up drive ability if it is not properly working.
