I want to do an engine swap on my LS, with an upgraded engine. The only issue is where to get a more powerful engine that is somewhat "easier" to install. Any input?

Why would you buy an already modified engine and swap it? Removing and installing engines in these cars are a pain. Which engine were you even looking at?

if you're going to attempt an engine swap, easy should not be a deciding factor. If you have to ask don't attempt. If you know what you are doing any engine swap is easy.

My explanation was a little off. By upgraded engine, I simply mean a step up from the existing stock 4cyl. And my problem is finding one, that's the question I am asking. And by easy I simply mean something it going to fit a little better than some of the other options.

just mod it. there's no way you can fit anything bigger than the stock ecotec. and if you were to attempt to buy a 2.0 block, it would be WAYYYYY more money and time than it's worth
