FL speaker issue

Recently got an 06 cobalt LS. My FL speaker sometimes work, seems like if i turn my car on and it works it will be fine for the rest of the journey, but if it doesnt come on it wont come on at all, and it doesnt work more often than not.

I put in a new Pioneer head unit, amp and kicker sub, hoping it was a HU issue but that didnt help. So today i pulled the door panel off and checked the speaker connection and what i could see of the wiring and all seemed to be fine...

Im REALLY hoping this isnt a damaged wire somewhere deep in my dash? Anyone have any ideas of what else could cause this?

the speaker connection looked fine yes but did u try another speaker? most times its a blown speaker

I didnt have one to try, but surely as the speaker does sometimes come on, and sounds perfectly fine when it comes on it wouldnt be blown?

Could be a bad voice coil. Replace speaker.
