Gear Selector Indiactor off

Just wondering how hard it is to get at. The orange gear selector doesn't move when shifting through the gears. Any one have experience trying to fix this problem?

you'd have to take the whole assembly apart. i've never heard about this before

The orange indicator doesn't move when shifting between the different gears. I was thinking about fixing it, but have gotten use to it not moving.

There is a diagram some where.
I just don't remember on how to take it apart.

my orange indicator got stuck in the "neutral" spot. I got used to it. just added it to the list of the things gone wrong with mine
