HID's tonight. Well at least order them tonight because my right side bulb decided to go out after 3 years of loyal service.

I was thinking about doing 6k. Right now I have 8k but want to get closer to white.

Does anyone have 6k running?

I did in my 2.2, sadly I never got any beam pictures. I was running 6000k with 55w ballasts which are supposed to drop them by 1000k so they ended up pure white 5000k.

The CCFL rings were "white" supposedly, obviously they have quite a bit of blue in them. By far my setup was my favorite color and brightness, one of these days I'll get around to fixing the eyelid color and getting all the metal shavings out of the headlamp so I can put em on the SS.
