GM Paint Codes With Part Numbers

Heres all the colors for our cars and the spray can part #'s so you can order them from any GM dealer.

Now these are the color names but I would STRONGLY suggest you double check your paint code against the (--U) next to the color to be sure you ask for and order the CORRECT color! GM does change names but paint codes never change, always go by the paint code even if it has a different name. Again paint names can change from year to year and model to model but paint CODES DO NOT!

very nice and if any one has an 03 ion in orange the paint code is 87U (Exterior, Orange (02) Saturn) which is different than the 05+ colors

Check with your local auto parts store for paint, my local O'rileys auto parts mixed me up a can of Amethyst and it color matched perfectly to my car.

lol they probably dont. I do know that the RL black is not just `black` it is obsidean black (excuse the spelling) and from 2005 up gm has about 8 different obsidean blacks lol the paint code is different I just dont remember what it iws exactly... and thats just black what a gong show eh

that is rare. the local body shop supply will do that stuff for me, not a parts store.

i have to agree with Ace
saturn and chevy/pontiac shares the same code but not exactly the color for 06-09
like my red is Chill pepper red and not Victory red even if they look almost identical they're not lol
