Can anyone run a GM Vehicle Inquiry System (GMVIS) for 1G1AL58F987119629, please?

I got it used and I'm trying to find out if it has remote keyless entry module.

You know the service department at a chevy dealership can do this for you, I got mine for free from them.

Unfortunately today I went to the dealership, and they told me that the report is only for the dealer.

Please, somebody help me with the GMVIS!

Take it to a different one man. I dont think anybody can email you that stuff.

I've found a few forums where people will get you a GMVIS if you post your VIN (eg here). Just google GMVIS or some variation.

I got mine from the dealer but only because of warranty work.
