Can somone please help me out here. My power steering has been shutting down and working again off and on. And now it's not working again. I have code U2111. Any suggestions on how to fix this. I have already just replaced the rack and pinion. Any help would be great thanks.

What year and trim level?
There's a recall for the power steering unit. Have you taken it in for that?
The U2111 code is: Lost Communication With Steering Control System
So I'd say check your wiring under the dash at the power steering module. Might be a bad wire between that and the computer.
