I've been meaning to ask about this for a while, I have a 2007 Cobalt LS sedan and I've noticed that when the RPMs get over 4500 when I'm taking off fast or going to pass real quick on the highway, there is a loud hissing noise from the engine. It sounds sort of like a turbo or a supercharger with out the whine. My car is bone stock other than power locks I had installed when i got the car. Is this the stock intake choking off the car or is there a possible leak in the intake? I've never heard a car hiss loud enough to be heard from the drivers seat going down the road listing to Korn. Any ideas?
