I am about to look into this. Anybody do it?
I know it adds weight to the car. Like 50 pounds Lmao. That's nothing.
Should it make my sound system more crisp?

Where do I even buy it. My buddy has his audi a4 padded up with it. His stock Bose system sounds amazing.

It'll make the system sound more pure. Bass is always tighter and sounds better. There are better and cheaper alternatives to Dynamat, I think one was called Second Skin. Have a look around on some sound forums, there are some good comparisons out there.

Gotcha. I know I have to "strip " my car down and to take full advantage. That should not be an issue since its a cobalt.

It's pretty easy to remove the seats, center console, and floor carpet. Just takes time.

i've heard good things about dynamat over on FRF.
i had to do some research in college for sound & vibration dampening & it turns out that the stuff in shoe sole inserts works fairly well too haha! but i can't think of the name of the stuff that we used for the life of me...
