Anyone know the space available to replace a horn on a cobalt? I've got a bull horn coming into the shop (page 12 of this pdf) and anyone know a how to on that one? (the one in this forum how to and only one i've found is dead.)

The horn is located below the drivers side headlamp, so you gotta pull that and the headlamp mount out. Then its just a simple unplug the OEM horn and attach the wires to the new one and mount it.

That's 2 K5 setups, I only want 1 K3 :) This puny horn on the balt just doesn't convey my dissatisfaction with the people that cut me off.

im installing a loud PA system so i can say "get the F*CK out my way"

haha nice, I'd get myself in trouble with a PA system. I wanna install a lever operated train horn so it sounds different every time :D

Nice. I can buy train horns from work, but I want the bull horn that sounds like a raging bull about to charge. thing is, the horn is a beast ... it's gotta be a foot tall and over half a foot around so i'm not sure if there is room for it or if I need to relocate the horn.

besides, a decent train horn needs a 6 gallon air compressor to not sound like a trumpet that has been crushed by the school bully. and you need to yank the electric air valve on them and install a manual pull line so you can dump massive air through them. A dual horn setup can practically deafen someone like that. Man, the lovely things you learn working at a trucker store doing vehicle graphics.
