How to remove 09-10 Auto shift knob.

you have to turn and push it down at the same time, your talkin about the chrome piece rught?

No there is no chrome piece.
The part where the boot is zip tied on turn a little that's it.
Here is a pic of the whole shifter.

I seen your walk through. I guess i'll have to push the ring on thr bottom down with a screw driver to get access to the screw.
Or cut the zip tie holding the boot to make it easier.

yah yours looks alot different than mine. just remember where the boot was ziptied to

I have to go to work now.
But tommrrow i'll turn the bottom part as far as it goes. It's about 1/4 th a turn.
Then try to pull it down with pliers or a screw driver.
