You its really odd that the LNF take the same filter as the 2.2!

theres only so many ways to build an air filter? lol

I think it does nothing, if anything it takes away hp and its a placebo effect....

My logic is
its put there for a reason, not just to baffle sound but channel the air to filter...as opposed to the bulky un even compartment...

If anything(what i did), just remove the 2 baffles from the tube..

I was thinking of doing that and leaving the tube.
For now i'll just leave the whole tube on when i install the GM performance intake tomorrow if it don't rain.

Bringing up an old post here, but I took out the airbox yesterday and couldn't find the silencer anywhere. :(

Is the silencer further underneath of the airbox?

Yea it's under the headlight.
Take the headlight and bracket off and your see it.
I was able to get mine out through the headlight opening also.

Alright i'll take a look at it again today. It saddens me that I couldn't find it yesterday. Oh well.

My K&N filter just came in today... I gotta drop that in there anyways.

Alright I'm actually RIGHT NOW in the process of taking out the headlight. The only shit under the headlight is the headlight holding bracket, and I removed that. under that, theres only a huge open space. :( wut do?

Sounds suspicious.

Regardless, I put in the K&N air filter today. :D

Someone sell me an exhaust. :)
