Hey Group,

Couple things here. I just ordered a new K&N 69-4515TS Typhoon Short Ram intake for my 05 Cobalt from AutoAnything.com for a really low price of $208.95 shipped via UPS. They match prices and I happened to find one that low online at Amazon. They seem to go for $290 plus shipping, so if someone has been waiting to buy one because of cost, take a look at this.

Second, for any users of the K&N system, would you comment on your experience with this intake? Like if it improved MPG or just higher RPM performance, etc. I know it will sound great on the Cobalt and hope it will help with efficiency as well!

Thanks!

you will feel a pretty big difference at high rpms and it sounds awsome! as far a Fuel milage goes i didnt see a difference, but then again my cobalt is averaging 23/24mpg so you might see a difference.

Does it sound better at all RPM's or just the higher RPM's?

I have a cold air intake on my Z71 and when I load it down on a hill at around 2200 RPM's, boy does the intake make a nice sound!

Thanks
