Just got a call back (an hour and a half ago) from the Stealership, my 13+ year old beater commuter car is completely covered by a special service tech bulletin, #12191B, the fuel tank, fuel pump and filler hose from the tank to the steel filler tube are going to be replaced at no charge to me.
This might not sound amazing to most of you all, but for me, someone who is cursed by Murphy and is always just a few numbers off to qualify for most recalls, service bulletins and the like and have to pay for repairs that can’t do on my own. This is a miracle.
