lol i dont blame you, but windows 7 is suppose to be great and right now if you buy vista i guess you get a free update to 7, so its kinda worth it.

your best bet would be going hp or dell, i've had 2 hps and both are still going strong. i'll probably get flamed for this but just make sure you get one with an intel processor.

Thanks for the advice. I heard Wal-mart is having a back to school sale for laptops.
