Hi ,I'm a new member,about to buy a 2008 Cobalt coupe,and I hope this is the right place to ask a couple of questions.
First, the car is the "middle model",I presume this is the LT ?
Would this model automatically come with Pwr windows,locks,cruise,tilt,ABS etc ?
The mileage is about 52 k's or about 30 thousand miles,and asking price is 8250.
Reasonable ?
Also,and I find this interesting,I saw an ad for a "g-force" ( i think) chip,which supposedly gives a little extra performance,and a slight increase in fuel economy.
Anybody verify this ?
BTW, the car I'm considering is a black automatic,

The "Middle Model" is the LT and it may or may not come with power windows, locks, etc. I've seen LTs without it.
$8250 doesn't sound too bad for a 2008 with 52K, but try an negotiate $8000 or $7800.
The G-Force chip doesn't do a lot. I have a Jet Performance chip in my car. It adds 35hp and increase fuel efficiency slightly (5-8mpg) but a 35hp increase for a 3,000lb car is almost negligible. You'll see the increase mainly in the torque range.

Hi,Thanks for the responses. It looks like from the pictures I've been sent,the car does not have ABS.

It has all of a sudden lost some of it's appeal.

The car belongs to my niece,and she has no idea of the ABS !

I guess I'll have to go take a look.

I thought all GM cars has ABS,but a friend mentioned they started "decontenting" a few years ago,to get the price down,and that this car could have had it deleted !

There's a DOT law that makes ABS mandatory in all vehicles built after 1988 or something. I forget what the exact law is, but all new cars are required to have ABS.

if thats the case then why dont i have ABS?
i know many others that dont have it on their balts as well. i actually dont mind not having it, i find myself able to control the car better than any computerized system. i dont even have the abs sensors, so im not even wired for it.
