P0638 error code, how to fix

Hello everyone,

I just inherited a 2006 Cobalt LT. It was running fine then it began to sputter while idling and eventually shutoff. The car had been sitting idle for 1.5 yrs. Today, I plugged in my OBD2 reader and got P0638 error code (Throttle Actuator Control Range/Performance B1).

Any fixes you guys can recommend are greatly appreciated.

P0638 isn't a trouble code in the 06 Service Manual. You sure that was the number?
