I just bought a brand new 2010 Chevy Cobalt 4Door. Mine came standard with the 15" tires with hubcaps over the steel wheels. When my tires wear down I would like to get 16" wheels and tires for the car. I can put 16" tires on my Cobalt, correct? I wasn't sure if for some reason some of the models may have size restrictions for the wheels.

you probably have 4 lugs, right? Well I just bought 18" rims, and if you get 215/40/18 tires it pretty much a direct replacement for 195/65/15. Overall diameter change is like .5% My speedo is still correct( for all intensive purposes). 1010tires.com has a nice calculator to find other wheel and tire sizes that will be a good fit.

Just be carefull. Keep in mind, when you change the diameter size of the wheels it changes the calibration on the speedometer. Cost me a ticket,so I had it put on a dynomometer so I could see how far I was off.
