Speaker and amp help

so i blew all but 1 of my speakers. i wanna stick to pioneer so here's what i found are these any good?

also i need an amp for them what would one recommend for these speaks? And I need an amp for the sub. Which works well with the stock sub?

That depends are you using a stock headunit or an aftermarket one. I assume stock, so you will need a line output converter to make it work or an amp with high level inputs. if you plan to wire it to the stock sub then match the output of the amp to the sub, I recommend a 2 channel or mono if you are looking to just power the sub but if you are planning to amp all the speakers go with a bridgeable 4 channel. At 50 watts nominal you would need to amp them to get the full effect. I am a fan of alpine, rockford, and mtx amps. The alpine and rockford have been a fav of mine for a while but mainly I use alpines as they have true rated power output in rms ratings. To power the stock sub with those 4 speakers you would aim for a 400-500 watt amp to provide adequate power with some wiggle room for upgrading the sub later down the road. Amplifying the speakers is not a necessity but if you want the best sound at higher volumes then yeah you will want to amplify them. I would not necessarily stick to pioneer unless its a preference thing for you. I have heard good things about eclipse amps and some other brands but I have been out of touch with the newest and best products on the audio market for a little while now. nahh matching speakers with HU doesnt really do anything

for example, i have a pioneer avh-p4000DVD head unit, my component speakers are RE audio 6.5's and 6x9's and sounds damn good... its all in the EQ settings man

If you want to get the optimum sound out of the system then yes matching the output of an amp to a speaker is the way to go about it. I never questioned the quality of a non amplified speaker setup but at higher volumes an underpowered speaker will distort in sound.
Noe matching brands on the other hand is not necessarily the best way to go about it. JVC decks work really well with alpine type s speakers, same for my clarion speakers working well with my current sony deck. The most important thing is to match power output for optimum sound performance.

i have pioneer x910bt as it says in my sig i'm not looking for crazy sound just something decent and that wont cause my speakers to blow out... i think they need to be amped though cause they're not that loud i gotta turn the vol all the way up to like 40-50 but then the bass is hitting mad hard and thats how i blew all my speakers. and for some reason only chimes will come out of the left front speaker not sound

that is still TBD, but after I get back on my feet I'm getting a subaru, whats left of the balt is being sold ASAP and i'm fixing up the Civic to be somewhat competitive in STS class this year. Sometime towards winter I'm hoping to dip my feet into a Subie, probably a RHD tho.

lol yea, i've been pretty lazy lately, I'm gunna pull the speakers out of the balt today and put them in my civic, and if I remember I'll bring the headlights home with me so i can take better pictures.

Hey LE5, you say your left door speaker only chimes? you might want to check the connections and make sure its not receiving interference, or also check your connection to the Headunit. As far as speakers go, i have ran a few different brands from Sony to Pioneer and i have to say i like pioneer the best so far. im not sure how much your willing to spend, but if your looking for Subs Go for the Pioneer Type R's, they are pretty sick, If you have a BestBuy around, go to the car audio section, and they should have a returned merch area for car audio, i got a nice pair of Pioneer type R's for under 75 each, which is a steal, and they are pretty kickin, If your lookin for a good Amp thats pretty inexpensive Look for a Crunch 1000w Amp, i think its a Mono amp, Works Really well with the Pioneers and havent had any problems with anything as of yet. Or if you have the money then go for a nicer amp, i have a nice electronics retail outlet here in oregon calls Frys lol can pick up a crunch amp for under 100 bucks. If the Type R's are too much you can go to Walmart and get a set of Pioneer 12' subs i think for 50 a peice, and they have some good bass to them, i ran those for a good 2 years in my truck before i upgrades my amp and blew them out lol. hope this helps

oh and also, You most likely will not need to Amp your Door speakers. I just upgraded mine from Stock to pioneer speakers and got a nice Pioneer Headunit and i barely had to turn up the volume to really notice a difference. I would also have to say, Unless your wanting to blast your music rediculously loud then stick with the Pioneer TS-A1683R's, they are easily much better than your stock speakers are right now.
