The problem with electric power steering

The problem with electric power steering.Lit error Check Engine. Read the error is not possible as there is no program. Eletro power steering sometimes works sometimes not. Sometimes you turn the steering wheel while driving and he does not return to its original position. I take off the terminal and the error disappears but after a while the lights again.

In what could be the problem?

There is a recall for the power steering motor. The motor is faulty. GM will replace for free.

YelloEye really right. I live in Belarus. It's between Russia and Germany.

Jackie, any chance you can post up the replaced parts with numbers so Godik1985 can have them ordered and replaced on his own? The motor is the only thing I know of that gets replaced. 3 bolts and a power plug to change it IIRC.
