Just got a ticket last night in MD for having the blacked out taillights and reverse lights.

I used nightshade to tint them - what kind of chemical should I use to put them back to their original state?

Dont use paint thinner, you will melt your plastics. Just pick up an extra set of tails at a junk yard or something.

Else = sand it off with like 800 grit and move to finer stuff once you get the paint off, finishing with 2000 and buffing it after that. You can use meguire's headlight restorer to buff it back.

I got a full proof system that I've done myself and it works amazing. 3M Adhesive Remover, not the spray shit, the liquid stuff you get in the red aluminum can you can pour. I don't think you can find it in autozone, I go to the specialty store where I get my paints and thinners. Apply to a sock and rub it away. does not damage the plastic, (for the complete perfectionist) it leaves a hint of cloudiness on them, which you can get rid of by simply putting a little wax on them. They look good as new. I'll post pics later.

The kid I bought it from niteshaded all the lights and reflectors on the rear of the balt and it didnt do anything for me. I put alot of research into finding a way to remove it without damaging the lights and this is what I came up with.
