I have a 2007 Cobalt SS that has a weak clutch. Does anyone know if the tranny can be slid over enough to get a new clutch in or does the entire motor/tranny have to be removed either out the top or dropped out the bottom? I looked in the drivers side wheel well and there doesn't look like there...

Thank you very much. It sure was simple once I spotted that huge 1 1/4 hex on the back of the engine. One thing though...I was hocked to find out how much the head gasket set and the head bolts were. I found a burnt exhaust valve and it is more fot the gaskets and head bolts...
I have an 07 cobalt that the number 4 cylinder will not fire. After new plug, and different coil, I discovered only 50 PSI compression in that cylinder. I have removed intake, exhaust and am ready to remove the head to see if it is a bad valve or bad head gasket but I can't figure out how to...
