Curious sound

nls...yesh it is bad for yer 2nd gear but it's fun. gotta pay to play
popping is a rich mixture. since you're not giving the engine time to rev down there's extra fuel in there between the 2 step or nls to make up for the ignition that the fuel system thinks it is feeding. eh sorry if i explained it bad. i'm sorta drunk lol

Well theres actually 2 questions. 1st is the multipop before I shift out of first. 2nd Q is the squeaking sound.

i think you have an exhaust leak...if you're explaining it how i think you are. the squeak is like a bird chirp kinda sound, right? the pops before the shift...sounds like it could be a vaccuum problem or a bad 02 sensor. but i would just keep looking for that exhaust leak. flex pipe is a common area.

also always clean the maf when dealing with air/fuel related stuff

Exhaust leak would be all the time, not just when I'm at the top of 1st. the squeak does kinda sound like a bird chirp. Not tire chirp.

FYI the popping sound is completely normal, I'm still puzzled by the other noise

The other noise is the BPV farting until it seals. Since tuned on the Hahn intake, I can hear it at times on a sharp release of the throttle between shifts. Doesn't do it all the time.

The pops are normal if you do an NLS too slow. 1 pop = perfect.

that's why i talked him into coming here, I've only been able to do a few single pop NLS it's not easy to do it PERFECT.

my buddy's used to make a toooooooot while doing a pull.. he got new charge pipes no more toot.. mine is getting it now. and the pops between are the rev limiter. trust me rev limiter i didn't think it was at first until my buddy was next to me and heard it from outside the car, it's the rev limiter.

Trifecta

Cruise control pushed in = stock tune
Pushed out = tuned 21-22psi mode

Yeah I prefer the cruise control

I have the tc control too but I like the cruise control a lot better
