Help with headlights?

I would get the first set. I have the same ones(1st gen projectors) with CCFL halo rings. You will not be able to use the stock bulbs in the stock housings now because its a completely different bulb. They are H1 bulbs for the low beams I think and not sure what the high beam bulb is.

1st gens are h1 high and low.

there is no really good bad just as long as u make sure the size of the bulb is H1 far as colour intensity whether u want blue or white is up to you

Oh ok.

So when shopping for headlights, what should I be looking for? Good, bad, etc?

Here I will save you the trouble and just tell you exactly what to get...

Get GEN 4 headlights and keep the stock bulbs that came with the headlights in there until you learn enough before switching to HID lights.

Yes the Gen 4 depo headlights come without halos and leds and all that extra crap. i wouldn't bother with it if you don't know enough about it. HIDs.. now that's a different story. Just go to www.buyhids.com for that.
