Help with headlights?

So I really don't know anything about headlights..I don't know the difference between LED, Halogen, whatever whatever lol. I was hoping someone could explain headlights to me pretty well and also tell me which of the two below would be a better buy:

I would get the first set. I have the same ones(1st gen projectors) with CCFL halo rings. You will not be able to use the stock bulbs in the stock housings now because its a completely different bulb. They are H1 bulbs for the low beams I think and not sure what the high beam bulb is.

1st gens are h1 high and low.

So when shopping for headlights, what should I be looking for? Good, bad, etc?

there is no really good bad just as long as u make sure the size of the bulb is H1 far as colour intensity whether u want blue or white is up to you

Yes the Gen 4 depo headlights come without halos and leds and all that extra crap. i wouldn't bother with it if you don't know enough about it. HIDs.. now that's a different story. Just go to www.buyhids.com for that.

I am thinking about getting some Projectors and I'm not sure what will look better.. chrome or blacked out... can anyone post pics of the different ones? I looked online and found a few.. but want to get a feeling..

I would love for the dark blue color so I can see how it will look on mine.

I vote not chrome, they're huge and already stand out. Body match or black. You can do the shroud in chrome as an accent.

I'm just afraid the car will look too plain if you can't see a definitive headlights.. The brighter contrast of stock or chrome may be what I'm looking for.. hoping to see more examples
