i have 50k onmy stock front rotors, they have streaks thru out the whole rotors, no warping, just a lot of wear, i dont think you could turn them enough to save them  been meaning to get new ones for so long now, but idk...i keep wanting to go faster w/out thinking of how to slow down...may get some slotted rotors, SSlines, wilwood dot4brake fluid...its on my to do list
get the bigger brakes :)
thats what i am doing up front, i have the caliper mounting brackets from an hhr to get 11" on the front and now just have to order ebc pads for stock caliper, ss lines, and rotors from the uk lol (actually not to spendy!!) for my front :)

u doing the thing maven has posted? let me know how that goes...id rather keep it all bolt on simple :p wait for a SS to show up at a junkyard, than go raid it for its brakes and torsion beam :p hell for everything its got, front sway bar, brakes, seats, etc...just need to bide my time

Bumping this because I need to know what parts you used. Where'd you get the calipers and rotor--are they for other model Cobalts?

Thanks!
