I think you are a bit biased

The thing I liked about the twinscrew is that several of the components needed are actually part of the unit for example the intake manifold, intercooler & fuel rails. Also it would have sat nicely in the V where as the Procharger takes valuable space in an already cramped engine bay.

Oh well it is what it is and the extra cost to make the twin screw fit just wasn't cost effective.

I have the car at a shop 10 minutes away from me so I can visit regularily.

As far as what needs to be done the firewall is finished up and the tranny/engine mounts are being designed. We have the transmission and will have the engine assembled after the wiring is relocated into a proper location.

We have ordered a new steering column as well as new seats and they should be here in 4 weeks. I will also be buying an after market dashboard because the cost of using the stock one out weighs buying a new one.

The car will be ready for track season unless the unspeakable happens, the wife freaks out when we have to start paying the lawyers fees for the lawsuit.

The problem will be getting the tires to last longer than a few burnouts. 1,000 rwhp can burn rubber of the wheels mighty fast.

V-8 owners will say it isn't a GTO/Vette
Imports will say it isn't fair because it is a V8
Women will say there is no backseat
Some will whine because it has a racing powerglide tranny
Others will cry because it isn't NA
Others will cry because it is Procharged not turboed
Even others still will whine because it kicks their cars ass

There will be no winning until the numbers are up and then there will be a mixture of silence and cheers, while I have some stupid shit eating grin on my face.

lol ya. i think what will end up happening is us renting out castrol raceway in edmonton again and doing that again. thats what we did last year. there's pics of last years meet in the midwest section on css.net
