i drove over 400 miles no power steering waiting on the new one to get in

I drove for a year because it was too damn expensive, had to wait until tax season and then a work discount to get it done the first time, then when that one failed a month after the warranty expired i pitched a fit and got corporate to own up to it and cover the part. I had to pay labor tho.

ya mine usually shows itself as low speed clunking coming from the steering wheel and a dead spot when turning. by dead spot i mean you can be holding it a little to the right and when you go to turn it to the left there is no tension on it. and it likes to drift and i'm constantly correcting the steering.

**** and here i thought it was just my tires................ffs, the better fucking fix this shit PERMANENTLY!!!

some of it is the tires as our cars due to the wheel base don't like to stay in the grooves in the roads but its on all roads that it does this

I have a solution for you, put in a fuel rail from an 04 ion redline (which was plastic) run that for a few 1000miles the fuel rail will melt eventually causing a fuel leak which in turn will burn your car to the ground and bam you end your problem... if your smart you will "try to put out the fire" (with the car still running annd pumping fuel) and somehow mildly burn yourself. Then you sue GM for millions... i dont think anyone sued but i do know that there was one ion in particular that did go up in flames

that's why my car pulls even with a perfect alignment

maybe but probably not the entire reason... first of your car is narrow and there are ruts on the road from big vehicals (like tractors or semi's whatever you wanna call them) and secondly there is a natural slope to the road so the road sheds water... a litlle FYI

road crown and all those factors i get what you're saying. when i let go of the wheel it still pulls even though the wheel is straight...the toe is perfect and the camber is -1 degree from original, but it is in spec. i do the alignments myself so i am sure of this. the car's never been in an accident either.

i spoke to a service writer at work today she told me there was no recall on the cobalt except for the front impact sensors which is now closed anyway.
