MPG on your Balts ?
I only wish I had the instantaneous feature in the van. Maybe the upper trim levels got that but this is a basic van and it shows me an average mpg, average speed, range for the fuel tank, and that's about it.- occupant

Engine coolant temp sensor and air conditioning problems!
I'm going through this right now with my '08 at 229K miles. If you can still get a reading on the dash after disconnecting the battery, your ECT sensor is *FINE*, for now. No need to change a sensor if that's not the problem. The problem does not have ANYTHING to do with the air conditioner...- occupant

Cutting Front Bumper

Air Filters
You're in Arizona. Dry and dusty. I would stick to the standard paper filters. An oiled filter is going to do you zero good in that climate after a few days or weeks or driving. I know LTZ and 2LT models typically all have cruise. I have seen a few 1LT models with it as well. Did any LS Cobalt come available with cruise, maybe earlier 05-06 years?
