Cobalt not starting

My cobalt 2.2 decides when it wants to start now. Turn the key and nothing happens, it doesnt even try to turn over. Try a couple times and usually after 1-5 mins of trying it starts. Any ideas?

Has it done the recall?

Yes we took it in juat a couple weeks ago. It did it before and still does it after the recall was fixed.

Yes it does get power. It does exactly what this guys car in the video does.

So the security light stays lit up?

It does until I turn the key and then all the lights are gone. Then turn the key back to the off position they turn back on

Have you tried another key?

When I crank without a proper key the CEL light stays on and the security light flashes.

What is your security light doing?

Do all the lights go out when you crank?

All the lights go out. We got 2 new keys from gm with the ignition recall. Sometimes if you crank the steering wheel as hard to the left as you can and turn the key it starts no problem. I took a video of my car doing it.

The check engine light is on and it needs a new cat but it did that before it started throwing the code.
