my ranger pickup may recirculate, but it doesn't give me an option like the cobalt lol!

now if i could make it stay on the recirc setting instead of turning off after killing engine!!! the AC remembers it's setting, why doesn't the recirc??? idk maybe it's user error again lol

It is set to not remember because recirc air gets stale. Of your truck has a MAX A/C seeing that's your recirc function.

The other reason you don't want your air recirculating all the time is because it keeps humidity in, windows all fog easier. I know this because my interior is a little damp most days due to the train we get here.

makes sense. big problem with me after i work out lol - i steam rather than sweat in the winter haha!
