Have read that slotted rotors are designed to de-glaze brake pads for race applications. Now they market the slotted as keeping the pads even. Plan to replace pads and rotors soon. Want cross drilled but only found one set that aren't the drilled/slotted combo. Why are they doing this?

first off, STAY AWAY FROM DRILLED ROTORS!!!!!!!! The only reason drilled rotors exist is for TRACK APPLICATION ONLY!!!! Anyone who uses them on the street is asking for cracked rotors when it gets cold. Drilled rotors are made to help dissipate heat as fast as possible but at the cost of not being able to use them in the cold without risking the rotor cracking under all the extreme pressure/heat/friction.

IMHO your BEST option and this is what i recommend to anyone looking for street application, "Slotted/Dimpled rotors with Hawk HPS pads" there is NO BETTER combination for a street application than that. DO NOT BUY DRILLED ROTORS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY REGRET IT!!!

Any other questions feel free to PM me, I do my best to help anyone who asks :)
