I fail at painting my headlights ...

today i washed it and both fogged up... its not the first time i washed it since i painted them tho, so its sorta wierd...

i just let it go and the hole light eventually fogs up... when i turn my headlights on most of it goes away but not all of it then when they go off it fogs up again

any idea how i can fix this dilema??

i think you have to take them apart and reseal them. i have never done it myself but i remember reading a thread about it. i think you just put them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes

ya wait till you have a spare set and make sure it's sealed good the first time which means do a double seal. and sorry OP but your gonna have to split them again and reseal. but chances are they are gonna be a little hazed like mine from the moisture on the inside.

I have third gen's and Mine fogged up after about 6 months.
I took the light out and with a sharp cutting device, cut out
some of the sealer they used and then I used clear silicone
to reseal it up and WOOOOLAAAA, NO MORE FOGGING !

Don't take them apart, just reseal and you are good to go.
just my .02
