man that's a lot but it's worth what it does. there's a wrecked cobalt at my job i am wondering if i can grab the twb and mod it myself.
Sorry guys the links are from OTT's old website. And like Mike said, it's not just a matter of bolting on new hubs. Also, Powell doesn't just slap these axles together, they're a very custom project. The rear TWB cost me $1300 alone. No brakes, nothing.
So, it's not a light project.

you mean like welding the holes closed, then re-drilling?
If i'm not mistaken they are cast, so welding it correctly is difficult at best.
it still won't make the hub thicker at those points.
he meant popping out the stock studs and filling the holes. then redrilling them in the 5x4.5 circle on top of where the original holes wound have been. Just doesn't sound safe imo.
