I am trying to install the Bluestar module so I can get Bluetooth capability through the OnStar system. I think I found it, someone told me it was recessed in front of the XM unit. That's probably why I didn't see it. Anyone have any advice on how to remove the rear package tray? Does it just need to be pried up along the perimeter?

Pretty much just pryed up. The side panels are in slots in it.
But if you push down on the sides and bend up in the middle you can get it out.
Also once the seats are down the corners of the opening have to come off.
It's not as hard as it sounds. I had mine out in about 10 min.

I thought all 09 balts came with bluetooth....lol

Nope only if you get the Mylink package that includes Bluetooth, USB port on the HU, ABS, Leather wrapped wheel with radio controls,Leather gear shift, and 16 inch 4 lug wheels.

2010 is the same way. When I got mine I didn't want one with out the package.

Don't know if it was the same for the SS.

I wish I had that, but I got a sweet deal on a car on the lot they were trying to get rid of. I got the Bluestar installed. it works pretty good, however they are still trying to work out an echo problem. I ran an external usb line into the trunk so that i can easily update the Bluestar module when the new software release comes out without having to take the rear package tray out again. Thanks everyone for the help.
