Hi,

Every time I stop my car it start shaking so I decided to take it to the shop and it was diagnosed with a bad Throttle Body Assembly and I was wondering how hard it would be to install it myself.

How hard it would be to install it myself?

Apparently this is a dealer only part and costs $270 and I was wondering if there is a well known online auto part that could have this part?

Any online auto parts?

Thanks a lot!

Thank you all for your help.

One more question.

What does the Throttle Body Assembly do?

As I said, I took my car to Merlin’s and they told me it was the Throttle but I’m wondering if it makes sense according to the following symptoms , the car shakes when I’m stopped, but it runs just find once it starts moving.

Thanks a lot

The throttle body takes air into the engine. Your air/fuel ratio is probably messed up at low rpms
