Celica had projector housings though right? Our headlamps scatter horribly with HIDs in them.

Check out Ebay, I'd offer mine but I think I've got a local wanting them.

The celica didnt.. The Japanese versions had hid lamps but mine was stock halogen housings..

Wow thank you.. But i found some on a website for $200 and some on ebay for about that price. Just not aure i can get that kinda money right now..

But i think i will make sure to buy housings and not just put hids in.

How hard are the headlights to swap out?

Right but they still have projector lenses right? Or maybe I'm thinking of a newer celica, the older ones did have reflectors.

Ah, older celica.

The lights on that site are not designed to house HID bulbs, they'll fit but the beam pattern is sketchy.

Them lights are gen 1 or 2 lights. All gen 1-4 lights have garbage light output. Like its that bad.

that's the light my lights produce.

Oh thanks for the offer.. Not sure what time frame ypu are talking about.. Plus not sure how much they will be.

Im confused that they are saying the ones on that site arent for hids.. Cuz it says they are projectors.. But i may go that route since they are $170 to $230

The projector bowl is not as great as it seems. Light does not get pushed outward as it should

Here's the "why you don't put HID bulbs into halogen reflector housings" image, same sort of thing with halogen projector housings. There do exist projector and reflector housings that are specifically made to use HID bulbs, same for halogen. Though putting an HID into a halogen projector is typically better than tossing them into reflectors, it is still frowned upon.
