Unlock your car with a cell phone(emerency use)

Other then cool factor i dont see a practical use for this unless you NEED to get into your car after losing your keys.

How to do it?

Well someone needs your 2nd remote. Call that persons cell, have them point the clicker at there phone and hit the unlock button, at the same time
Have your phone next to you car and once they click it to open, it will open your car! cool huh? i thought so. :)


then have them bring you your 2nd set of keys :lol:

yes it does. I did it today and i have a friend who did it :) Mythbusters are humans too and can make errors :)

Yep, this trick actually works. I tested it a few months ago with Terry being @ the house and I'm at work (42 miles in between). I had my keys in the warehouse on my desk and no one was in there to hit the unlock button, either. Terry hit his button on his set of keys and boom, it unlocked.

I have no idea that Mythbusters busted that theory. But apparently my, and a few others', car are the exception.
