    cobalt quitting

Any codes? Or better yet check engine light on? Out of curiousity. What does the oil level or change have to do with car stalling or not starting? Is there a low oil level inhibit sensor on the Cobalt? I hope you oil is never getting that low for a sensor to go off, otherwise you...

    Oil Drain Plug Question...

I'd love to see that. Stupid is as stupid does. :idiot: (the you tube video that is) k ---------- Post added at 01:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:23 PM ---------- I was going to suggest that, but I assumed he did that or it's too late and is going to another shop. Certainly...

    Oil Drain Plug Question...

Well, start by buying a new drain plug. Either new or from J/Y. If it's really badly stripped and tight, I would suggest getting a NUT welded on it. If the weld job is done right, I would start with 1/2" pry bar ans 6 point socket as pictured. If that fails, You can use impact gun on low...

    Fuel quantity indication problems.

Still working well in the upper ranges. fuel Economy is normal. Seems that the Econo. is based on miles driven, not actual fuel consumed. Like a Fuel flow gauge would do. kl

    Oil Drain Plug Question...

WHATTT? You kidding me? :wtf2::greenchainsaw: That is the silliest thing I've ever heard. Out of curiosity, why would you do that? I just did the GF's Nissan Murano oil change and I used a calibrated, Snap-on Torque wrench to tighten the drain plug to the book value of 25 Lb-Ft. Not...

I assume that the 06 Model and 08 model will have differences in certain functions or additions? Maybe only cosmetics may have changed but sometimes there are huge upgrades or downgrades even in close model years, sometimes. k ---------- Post added at 09:34 AM ---------- Previous post...

    Fuel quantity indication problems.

I just filled up and reset odometer to get my milage. will report back. But with a faulty indication, it'll be hard to tell when I'm near zero. I suspect I should get at least 600 KM (375 Mi) from1 tank? So is there a fix fro these gauges or just keep replacing? Aftermarket? Whats the tank...
