I want to do this. How-To?

Is it easy? Do you need resistors?

i can do a how to, no resistors are needed with the leds i used, they have them built in the base of the led.
the reason i dont do a how to for this mod is it was a lot of custom work/material, its a plexi glass bracket that i cut to size, then i drilled the holes for the leds and soldered the wires, i think its easy took me about 4hours to do

that seems like a really easy mod, you think i could do it with the stock 3rd brake light?

You could, just re wire it to the tails and leave the middle alone, also if there is enough interest i have no problem selling a kit when i get vendor status

can this be done with an impala 3rd brake light? because it doesn't seem like the led's you use seem bright enough after watching the daytime video.
