ah that one was yours, i saw it when it was being made :p i remember u requested the TB to be on that side bc you didnt want to rework ur charge piping...or something like that, crap they should of put the fittings on the other side like the production models...hmm...now u will have to extend ur brake boost hose x_x

lol not my fault, he didnt order from me, i think he went thru brian at the shop... i wonder why they put those on that side, now i will have to call them to let him know not to from now on :p i mean its not a big deal, the little fittings are fine, its just the brake boost one that i worry about, im actually going to see about moving those under the mani out of sight vs being on top in plain view...

yeah... i would have had to get a new intercooler and relocate my windshield washer resivior. to much of a pian. so i requested it to be on the passanger side. BTW i also got a custom vinyl made in silver says VULCAN TURBO. Going to place it on manifold. The design looks pretty good too. when ever that shows up i'll post a picture of it on the manifold.

i was thinking the same thing about the vaccum connectors. where can i get elbows from to replace those so i can run the lines in between the runners and keep it neat.

there were a few gouges in the metal so i had to strip it down a bit and throw some bondo in the gouges and re powder coat it. i didnt think the guys on my ship could powder coat that well but they proved me wrong.

question: on a ecotec 05 where do you instal the MAF. before the turbo or before Trottle body. i know someone has trouble with stall issue.

thats a neat setup and pretty serious power for a stock motor 2.2.. good stuff.. i like the fact u can use the aftermarket header and dp with it but still throw the turbo on. thats pretty cool

the MAF goes in before the throtle body. 2.2's are tuned via the MAF and AFR read out. I almost have the MAF maxed out. There is a work around for that but i dont need to start worying about that until i have another forged motor in the car.

anything new?

I'm taking the car in tomorrow for a new dyno w/ the vulcan turbo intake manifold on and an updated tune. I'm expecting to hit low to mid 260's

you shouldnt have any problems. elecoblue has 2.4 w/ a procharger on it running 7 psi and makes 6hp less then i do. take your boost to 15 and you should around 270+ depending on the CFM flow rate of your turbo. my cfms are 786. slightly higher then the stock ss/tc turbo

im only gonna have it around 12 psi when i dyno. ive been told i should see around 300 with that. i thought that was a bit high but after looking at other cars and similar compression ratios i think its feasible.

my turbo is kinda big so i should have a decent flow on it tho. but u got a nice build. very impressed
