am i the only one that thinks goo gone is total bullshit?

im trying to remove my door trim and goo gone isnt getting ANY of that residue off my ddoor

any one kno of sumthing better to use?

i use gasoline, yes they say it eats your paint, but worked fine for me for 2yrs...just dont leave it there...wash it off when ur done

anything alcohol based will work. laquer thinner works well or paint reducer even nail polish will work.

You mean nail polish remover? haha

I was going to recommend that as well, but didn't know if he was using it on plastic or paint.

goo gone, liquid worked a little bit but i still have residue, gasoline costs too much to use

I use goo gone for everything worked great for me u jus have to reapply a lot and also use some elbow grease

Goo Gone is terrible

3M adhesive remover works very very well.

try some simple green, that is what i use at work on cable boxes when customers get the sticky velcro stuck on it...works pretty good!

my buddy used goo gone on his sport red tint SS when he debadged.. it damaged his clear coat, it left it all white and cloudy lookingin the areeas he applied it. he had to buff the hell outa it. looks better now but not completely gone.
