Local buy![]()
next time at least ya?
Possibly depending on what tires I decide to go with. Tire Rack doesnt carry Nitto, and I swear by their NeoGens for now.
I am going to try the Kuhmo XS this year, it was given RAVE reviews from Grassrootsmotorsports magazine(i might have mixed up the PROPER name for the company, sry) Anyways, they tested them for auto-x and were rated #1, my local car club is suggesting that the grip offered with these tires are rival to that of track use only tires(non-street legal) and to the point of making competitions unfair in a street tire class for those not using the Kuhmo XS.
I've heard good things about them too, not like what you are hearing but definetly good things.
yea some of the guys were not happy at all with how that is going to play out this year
id imagine so lol
but the idea itself is awesome, track tire grip level on a street tire![]()
Yeah lol that would be awesome, and if its true I'd probably run a set as my DD tires.
start readin up on them more this spring/summer when more ppl have used them.
I was actually curious how well NT05s would perform in the summer and how many miles one could expect....doubt it would be much but it would be a hell of a ride lol
they also come highly recommended by the auto-x community
Yeah ive heard about multiple people running those in a smaller than 18" size. if I got a set i'd want the 255 for sure.
what profile?
But 255 is 10"!!!!
Not bad, only .8 mph too fast. I can deal with that, what rim are you putting your track tires on?
no track tire, just my stock rims with the Kuhmo XS 245/35/R18
but..........255 means fender adjustment......i dun wanna do that
