hey thanks for letting me know. Radio shack has this one you posted so im going to go pick it up. Make it look close to stock. Anybody know the best way to wire up the switch.
same switch i got for my foglights
on mine there is 3 prongs that are coming off of it
prong 1 goes to a fuse tap
prong 2 goes to the fogs ( in your case the LED's)
and 3rd prong goes to a ground ( i found a nice ground under the dash where the ebrake is)
well whats the amp rating per led. should only be .5 of an amp or less. so if you got 10 led's in each i wouldn't go higher then a 10amp fuse. try out a 7.5 first though
nah i have 12 leds in each headlight x 2 = 24. They are rated at .5 amps.
So you need a 15amp fuse. Or that's my guess. If it blows that try a 20. Etc. But if you get to 30 and are still blowing em something is wrong.
how's the lights coming? almost rdy for install? they look sick man can't wait to see em installed!!!
well i got the switch wired up, the add-n-circuit installed and all the wired done. I used fuse 21 with my 3 amp fuse. I will have pics up tomorrow with them installed.
Lights have been installed and work perfect with the 3 amp fuse on fuse number 21 above the sunroof fuse. I took pics yesterday but need to find the cable for my camera to upload them. The illuminated switch lights up too when the lights are on. You can see the leds from a distance back easily.
