Camshaft sprocket holding tool?
On ebay I found just the locking tool. It's from Kent Moore and has the same part number. It's going for around $30 to $40, so I'll just get the ebay one. Thanks.- k_y86

Camshaft sprocket holding tool?
Has anyone used the Kent Moore J-43655 camshaft tool on any newer L61 engine besides the 2002 L61? I will be doing some head work on my 2007 2.2L and this tool is what I need to get the job done.- k_y86

Has anyone done a 2007 2.2 engine swap?
I live in Phoenix, AZ, and called Engine House for a quote on a rebuild of my engine. They quoted me around $2,000 for an ecotec long block. This is too much, so I'm deciding on an engine swap. Has anyone done a swap for a 2007 cobalt?- k_y86

I have a 2007 2.2 ls cobalt. I recently asked Gabriel Ray from Comp Cams about cam grind XE252HR-11, part number 113200. I have 13xxxx miles on my cobalt and it runs like crap. I've also tried fixing it but the dang thing keeps running like crap. On top of that my cv axle on the driver side...- k_y86

How do you take off CV axle if its stuck in transmission?
I know how to get to the cv axle and know how to take it off but the dang thing just doesn't want to come out. We even tried tying a come-a-long to it and it still won't come out. We even heated up the shaft just like the video and it still doesn't want to come out. Next option was going to...- k_y86

How do you take off CV axle if its stuck in transmission?

Is there an alignment tool for intake cam?
The intake cam on the 2.2 is a little longer than the exhaust so is the extra length for the cam sensor or is it used for an alignment tool. Asking this question because some DOHC engines require an alignment tool plus a cam locking tool. My motor is giving me a hard time and I would hate to...- k_y86
