I took mine straight out of the bottom of the car. There is 1 socket and 3 push-pins I think theyre called. It would NOT fit through the headlight. Also, I had a K&N short ram and I seen no difference . I did the airbox mod and I seen a ton of diffrence so I'm sticking to this for now .

I believe so. I bought the car used with 110,000 miles on it. I couldn't tell you how hard its been beaten on . And that sorta looks like the peice, it only has 1 wire coming out of it and it it hooks to the front of the transmission .

I just did my headunit install last night, Walmart sells the $80 scoshe? kit . I just used that, It worked fine. Theres 2 plugs coming out of the stock headunit, you only have to use 1 .

well, i have the stock intake, but i took out the huge restricter under my headlight, i replaced the filter and ive seen a good increase.

whats the diffrence between them that effect the air stream flow. sorry, im really new to this . won't ever learn if i dont ask .

where did you get the adapter at for the MAF ? i just dont understand how the cobalt SS' cai is like 40 bucks. and the cheapest 2.2 cai is over 200... thats rediculous .
