I'm not the one doing to inspection. A friend of my family's does it in town and he'll pretty much look over almost anything.

doubt he would pass me then because he would look at my tails, side marker, reverse light and see there all black and fail me. I mean its not like nothing else is wrong with my car as its a 2007 with 33k miles. Its dumb to even have to get an inspection when a car is new and have that low of miles.

here is a pic of front and rear of my car. I removed my front license plate too and filled the holes in. Got my m3 blinker mirrors with oem amber led board swapped in there so they look and blink like factory cars. Lowered on eibach profkit.
I also just received a email back from the ebay post on the smoked tails and there saying i wont pass with these either.

i never got fucked for my black tails but then i traded them and the kid got 3 tickets in 1 week so yah
My tails are that dark too and I pass all the time. Not questions by cops either whenever I get pulled over.
Just go to different places that inspect and try your luck there.
so your car passed inspections with those tails painted. Once you fail an inspection though at a place, i didnt know you could somewhere else to try it again.

yeah they sell these for $101 shipped on ebay. I did think of buying the led ones and then just selling mine.

come drive to tyler inspect it drive back, they dont even check
which place as tyler isnt too far out the way. I have been through when driving to florida each year.

the one i go to would probably be out of your way then, its on 110 heading towards whitehouse. Kelly Tire Company does it, took maybe 10 minutes
I would you sure think there are places like that in dallas or mesquite that wouldnt check and just pass me too.

wow this junk yard wants $175 for the tails. Good luck with them selling them. Not sure why junk yards in texas are so damm expensive. In michigan there were so many so you could pick and choose the one that was the cheapest.

Yeah, I've got it inspected so far twice since I had my car. Once at the dealer and at Qwik Kar.
I've been pulled over 3 times since I tinted my tails, and still nothing.
We went to actually three places trying to find a place to pass my buddies car inspection, so yeah you can go to different places.
well im going to try a couple local places and see what happens and if i can get passed by this weekend, i guess im going to turn mine back to stock.

lol all that hassle, buy an extra set for cheap
I havent found none for cheap yet, lol. For brand new off ebay they want $80 shipped which is expensive i think for jut an extra set. I am just going to turn back to stock and leave them that way for now.
